Here's the deal. I've been chasing a sync now for a long time. 82. One may recall that I first mentioned this perhaps somewhere near the start of this blog back in 2011. I'll link if I can. The 82 really became my touchstone, and if you dig around on this blog, you will see, that again, and again, this is the thing I'm trying to unpack, to understand. Is it a year? What is it?

Anyway, the flow is heavy and heady lately. The other day at a pizza joint, the gal in front of us was getting a beer with her slice and she made a point of saying that she was old enough, that her birthday was 82-82. hmmmm. OK, I'll bite. so I checked her out and on her left shoulder was a large sledgehammer tattoo. And that was that, and I didn't think to awful much of it. But then the 4282 sync storm began . . . .

So, usually, I don't know what my syncs are saying. They guide me, and I follow, and I try to understand them, but they are never an answer in themselves. They lead to more questions. This here today is a meditation on last week's sledgehammer "answer" in response to last night's 4282 sync fest. (Did you people feel it?)



The Wrecking Crew, released in December, 1968 and starring Dean MartinElke SommerNancy KwanTina Louise and Sharon Tate, is the fourth and final film in a series of American comedy-spy-fi theatrical releases featuring Martin as secret agent Matt Helm.
As with the previous three Helm spy movies (The SilencersMurderers' Row, and The Ambushers), it is based only loosely upon Donald Hamilton's 1960 novel of the same title and takes great liberties with the plot and characters, being developed as a spoof of the James Bond films. The Wrecking Crew was the second Helm novel published and the earliest of the books to be adapted.

The Wrecking Crew was a nickname coined by drummer Hal Blaine for a group of studio and session musicians that played anonymously on many records in Los Angeles, California during the 1960s. The Wrecking Crew is a team of four fictional supervillains — Bulldozer, Piledriver, Thunderball, and the Wrecker — that appears in Marvel Comics. While not featured on the cover, the Wrecking Crew's first appearance is in Defenders vol. 1, #17 in November 1974.~Wiki
